The two bedrooms and bathrooms are oversized for plenty of personal space while creating a private getaway of comfort. Get your best night's sleep on the king-size beds in both bedrooms! One bedroom also has a futon for sitting, or it can be converted into a full-size bed. Custom tile and stone designs throughout your vacation rental home complement the natural sunlight coming through six skylights, including a skylight in each bathroom shower. Large laundry room has large-capacity washer and dryer, in-wall ironing board, and a small clothes steamer. |

There is no swimming or fishing permitted in our relaxing koi pond filled by an 8-foot-high waterfall. Affectionately named "Rejuvenation Falls" and the "Healing Pond," they will melt your stress away! And don't forget to enjoy the outdoor fire pit on a cool winter night; sit by the fire, and enjoy the calming sounds of the waterfall-- your worries will fade away. |

You're own private getaway

Be sure to eat at least one breakfast or lunch on the "Tree House" deck. A short trip up the stairs brings you onto a deck snuggled into a large oak tree; you'll feel like you're in a tree house! Hot summers catch some nice cool breezes on the deck, shaded in oak leaves with a nice view of the koi pond. Park two-three cars in the large garage; there is also room on the 1-acre property to park boats, RVs and trailers without restriction. This house is centrally located so that it is a wonderful "hub" from which you can visit one-tank-trip destinations, or take a few days to explore further down either coast of Florida; Being only a mile from I-75 and less than a mile from I-4, you can travel virtually anywhere in the state! Your pets will not have to be kenneled, as they will have the luxury of pet doors and a 1-acre fully fenced yard. If you enjoy fishing, boating, water skiing
and/or swimming, lovely Lake Thonotosassa is only a 5-minute drive! Take a nice afternoon walk, or a drive a few blocks to the famous Cracker Barrel restaurant, located near the Flying J Travel Plaza (get gas there before every trip, it has one of the lowest prices in town). Lodging at its finest! You'll never stay in a hotel or motel again! |

Local History
The earliest settlers were Indians, with some farmers arriving in the 1700s. A military outpost in 1823 created the first settlement, with a variety of the small towns incorporated between then and early 1900s. The first hotel was opened in 1891. One of its early industries was the manufacture of “Cuban” cigars. Connected to Miami in 1928, more growth began, escalating in the late 1960s.

A minimum of $300 Reservation Deposit is needed to reserve this home. Your second payment will be the remainder of your Security Deposit due 60 days prior to arrival, and your payment in full is due 30 days prior to arrival.
